Reef Rangers website is renovated, ready for more lionfish hunters

Reef Rangers is a year-round lionfish removal program where individuals and teams of divers pledge to remove lionfish from adopted reef sites of their choice.  

Hunter safety courses offered in 2 additional counties in February

Those interested in attending a course can register online and obtain information about future hunter safety classes at MyFWC.com/HunterSafety or by calling the FWC’s regional office in Panama City at 850-265-3676. 

New Critical Wildlife Area signs go up in Franklin County

The FWC installed signs around two new Critical Wildlife Areas in Franklin County; Lanark Reef CWA and Flag Island CWA.  

New Critical Wildlife Area in-water markers to be installed in Lee County

The FWC will soon be installing in-water markers around five new Critical Wildlife Areas in Lee County: Hemp Key CWA; Broken Islands CWA; Matanzas Pass Island CWA; Big Carlos Pass CWA; and Coconut Point East CWA.
