FWC plans hydrilla treatment in Lake Hatchineha

The FWC will treat a 150-acre trail to enable navigation on the lake, using herbicides approved for use in lakes by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.  

FWC hosts public python workshops in south Florida

In partnership with Everglades National Park, the FWC is developing an Interagency Python Management Plan to identify goals and strategies for land managers to help control invasive Burmese pythons.

License fees for hunting and fishing (both freshwater and saltwater) are set by the Florida Legislature and are subject to change, along with stipulations on exemptions.
