Workshop set on managing private lands to improve wild turkey habitat

Featured workshop topics include an overview of turkey biology and management, timber management and prescribed burning for improving turkey habitat, food plot management and cost-share programs. 

FWC plans prescribed burn on Escribano Point Wildlife Management Area

The prescribed burn is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4, weather permitting. It will be done as a cooperative effort between the FWC and Eglin Air Force Base

FWC to meet Feb. 8-9 in Crystal River

The FWC will meet Feb. 8-9 at the Plantation on Crystal River, 9301 W. Fort Island Trail, Crystal River, FL 34429.  

Hydrilla treatment scheduled for Lake Kissimmee

February 01, 2017 

The FWC will treat portions of Lake Kissimmee in Osceola County for invasive hydrilla during the second week of February, weather permitting.
