If you’ve ever wanted to explore the woods with a guide, your golden opportunity is Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the annual “Welcome to the Woods” event at Seminole Forest WMA in Lake County. 

Eagle and Lang lakes to close temporarily April 14

Eagle Lake and Lang Lake Fish Management Areas at PotashCorp-White Springs will be temporarily closed April 14 because of low water levels.  

Hunter safety courses offered in Escambia County
