Final Population Modeling Confirms that Florida has a Robust and Growing Bear Population

One of the nation’s leading bear scientists, Dr. Joseph D. Clark of the U.S. Geological Survey and the University of Tennessee, has released the final modeling results estimating Florida’s black bear population.  

Two weeks left to qualify for the Lionfish Challenge

The Lionfish Challenge will come to a close Sept. 30, but that is still plenty of time to take and turn in the 50 lionfish it takes to qualify in the program. Every lionfish tail submitted helps control the invasive population.
