Extreme weather prompts emergency temporary closure of 4 Wildlife Management Areas in South Florida

J.W. Corbett and Allapattah Flats wildlife management areas, and the John C. and Mariana Jones/Hungryland and DuPuis wildlife and environmental areas are closed to access until further notice.  

Lake Istokpoga aquatic plant management meeting on Oct. 11

Managing plants and habitat in Lake Istokpoga will be the topic of a public meeting hosted by FWC from 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the Bert J. Harris Agricultural Center Auditorium in Sebring.
