FWC to assist with sea turtle-friendly lighting retrofits on beachfront properties

The FWC is encouraging coastal business owners and homeowners in northwest Florida to consider investing in sea turtle-safe lighting upgrades in time for the 2017 nesting season, which begins in May.  

FWC reminds Floridians of extended Gulf red snapper season in November

The recreational red snapper season in Gulf state waters will remain open for seven additional days this November, including Nov. 5 and 6; Nov. 11 and 12; and Nov. 25, 26 and 27.
