FWC to meet Nov. 16-17 in St. Petersburg

The FWC will meet Nov. 16-17 at the University of South Florida Student Center in St. Petersburg. The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. Both sessions are open to the public and the public will be provided opportunities to speak.  

Lionfish hunters honor veteran with artificial reef renaming

November 10, 2016 

A lionfish-hunting team was awarded the right to rename an artificial reef off the coast of northwest Florida after successfully removing more than 500 lionfish while participating in the Lionfish Panhandle Pilot Program.
