Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission honors Jarrod Molnar as 2016 Boating Officer of the Year

June 23, 2016 

The FWC recognized Officer Jarrod Molnar as its 2016 Boating Officer of the Year during its June Commission meeting. Officer Molnar is a coastal officer assigned to southern Okaloosa County in the FWC’s Northwest Region.  

FWC thanks Lake County Commission for passing ordinance to help reduce bear conflicts

The FWC commended the Lake County Commission for taking proactive Bear Wise steps to reduce bear conflicts in Lake County communities.  

Bay scallop conservation measures approved for St. Joe Bay

June 23, 2016 

At the June 23 meeting near Apalachicola, the FWC approved measures to conserve bay scallops in the St. Joseph Bay area.
