Help plan the future of Perry Oldenburg Wildlife and Environmental Area

FWC staff will present the draft land management plan for the FWC-managed WEA, and people will be encouraged to comment and ask questions at the 7 p.m. hearing on June 28 at The Lake House in Spring Hill.  

Eagle Lake closes temporarily June 27

Eagle Lake Fish Management Area in Hamilton County closes June 27 and will remain closed for approximately one month, according to FWC officials. 

Free Kids’ Fishing Clinic promises day of learning, fun

The FWC partnering with the Florida Sport Fishing Association will offer a free Kids’ Fishing Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon June 25 at Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal #3, 220 Christopher Columbus Drive, Cape Canaveral. 

FWC to meet June 22-23 in the Apalachicola area

June 16, 2016 

The FWC will meet June 22-23 at the Franklin County School Gymnasium in Eastpoint. The meeting both days starts at 8:30 a.m. Both sessions are open to the public and the public will be provided opportunities to speak.
