FWC July 20 workshop in Pasco County gives local governments ways to conserve gopher tortoises

The goal of these workshops is to identify ways cities and counties can participate in protecting one of Florida’s threatened species. In addition, the FWC will discuss financial incentives available for local governments.

FWC Facts:
Like all North American terns, the least tern has long, pointed wings and a deeply forked tail. It is the smallest of Florida's terns.
