Mutton snapper workshops scheduled for August

Mutton snapper is an important south Florida fishery. The 2015 stock assessment indicates that regulatory changes are needed for the fishery.FWC staff has been gathering public input on how to proceed with management of this fishery.  

Take bowhunter education course in August, September

Students should register for the course they choose by calling the FWC's North Central Regional Office at 386-754-1654 or by visiting MyFWC.com/Bowhunt. Students of all ages may participate. 

FWC requests public input at Critical Wildlife Area workshops

The FWC is holding public workshops to share information about and solicit comments on the proposal to designate new Critical Wildlife Areas and modify five existing CWAs throughout the state.
