Free Kids’ Fishing Clinic promises day of learning, fun

The FWC will offer a free Kids’ Fishing Clinic for children between the ages of 5 and 15 from 9 a.m. to noon April 9 at Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park, 301 W. Main St., Pensacola. 

Catch nonnative freshwater fish, get the chance to win prizes

The Nonnative Fish Catch, Click and Report Contest is open to all licensed or legally exempt anglers in Florida. There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded.

Join the FWC and partners at ‘Vamos a Pescar Miami!’ (Let’s Go Fishing Miami!) event

Vamos a Pescar Miami! is April 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include boating and fishing skills clinics, sport shooting education and Daisy inflatable BB gun range, wildlife presentations, boating opportunities, and on-site fishing with loaner rods and free bait. Music and food vendors also will be on-site.
