Due to high water levels, the South Florida Water Management District has temporarily locked Gate 9 of the Hungryland Wildlife and Environmental Area (WEA).

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission advises anyone wanting to enter Hungryland WEA to park at Gate 3 or Gate 10. They should not park outside of Gate 9, as it is private property. Gate 9 will be reopened as conditions permit.
