FWC offers hunter safety course in Leon Co.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is
offering a free hunter safety course in Leon County.
The course will be conducted in the second-floor conference room
of the Farris Bryant Building, 620 S. Meridian St., Tallahassee.
Instruction is from 6 to 9 p.m. April 12, 14, 19 and
21. The range portion of the class is April 23.
An adult must accompany children under the age of 16 at all
times. Students should bring a pencil and paper with them to take
notes.
People born on or after June 1, 1975, must successfully complete
an approved hunter safety course before they can purchase a Florida
hunting license. The FWC course satisfies hunter safety training
requirements for all other states and Canadian provinces.
