Hunter safety Internet completion course offered in Columbia Co.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission (FWC) is offering a free hunter safety Internet
completion course in Columbia County.
The course will be at the Fort White Gun Club.
Instruction will take place Jan. 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. The range
portion will be Jan. 29, from 8:30 a.m. until complete and will
also be at the Fort White Gun Club.
Students must complete the Internet course prior to
coming to class and should bring a copy of the final report from
the online portion of the course. The final report doesn't have to
be notarized.
All firearms, ammunition and materials are provided
free of charge. Students should bring a pen or pencil and paper. An
adult must accompany children under 16 at all times.
The hunter safety course is required for everyone
born on or after June 1, 1975, to purchase a Florida hunting
license. The FWC course satisfies hunter safety training
requirements for all other states and Canadian provinces. People
interested in attending a course can register online and obtain
information about future hunter safety classes at
