FWC shuts down illegal Internet operation

When the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Internet Crimes Unit received a citizen's complaint that a Tampa man was operating an illegal wildlife business through eBay, it launched an undercover investigation that resulted in the man's arrest.

Closed shrimp-harvesting area in Escambia Co. reopens

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will reopen state waters offshore of Escambia County to the harvest of shrimp at 12:01 a.m. on Aug. 17.
