Bin InformationLine can only be recycled by placing it into specifically designated monofilament recycling bins. MRRP is striving to establish a statewide network of indoor and outdoor bins where monofilament can be recycled. Fishing line cannot be recycled by placing it into your recycling bin at home. To locate an indoor or outdoor monofilament recycling bin near you, click on the county nearest you below. Outdoor recycling bins constructed of PVC and mounted at piers, boat ramps, and marinas are being installed throughout the state. It is easy to build your own outdoor recycling bin. Indoor recycling bins are hosted by tackle shops and department stores. Contact your favorite tackle shop to see if they are hosting a bin. If not, encourage them to do so by contacting Marine Fisheries, the MRRP statewide coordinator at Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
