Fishing

After instruction
at five other
mandatory skill
stations, the
opportunity to
fish is available
at most of our
Kids’ Fishing
Clinics. Bait is
provided and
volunteers are
lined along the
pier, seawall, or
bridge to assist
kids with baiting
hooks, rigging
rods, and
removing caught
fish for release
(clinics are
catch and release
events). Other
volunteers walk
the pier with
Polaroid cameras
taking pictures
of children with
their fish so the
child may take
the picture home
as a keepsake of
their day out
