Listing Action & Petitions
Florida has a formal listing process
that allows individuals to file a petition requesting the FWC to
evaluate the status of a species. Individuals or organizations
interested in filing a petition please refer to 68A-27.0012 (F.A.C.)
entitled “Procedures for Listing,
Delisting and Reclassifying Endangered, Threatened and Species of
Special Concern” and “Petition
Sufficiency Guidelines”. Below are species for which the FWC
has received petitions since 1999. Please click the links below to find
