How Group Applications Work

Each member of the group must submit a quota hunt application. The Group leader will submit their application first. During the application process, you will be asked if you are "applying individually" or "as a group".

If you select "as a group" you will be asked "are you the group leader" or "are you joining a group"

If you select "group leader", you will be asked if you want to set the group up "as a preference only group".  (This question will only be asked of those individuals who have preference.  If you are not eligible for the preference drawing this option will not appear.)  Setting a group up as a "preference only group" is a safety device that will prevent anyone from joining the group that does not have preference.  All group members must have preference for a group application to be included in the preference drawing.  Setting the group up as a "non-preference group" allows non-preference members to join your group. If that happens, the application will be in the second drawing.

After choosing the type of group, you will be asked if you want to be included in the antlerless deer drawing. After answering yes or no, you make your choice selections. Submit you application and a conformation page will appear.  The conformation page will have all your personal information, if you are in the preference drawing or not, if you are in the antlerless deer drawing or not, what choices you selected and a group number. Print this page and pass the group number on to your members.

When each member submits their application they will answer the group question "joining a group". The program will ask them for their group number. When they enter the group number and submit their application, they will receive a conformation page with their personal information and all the selections the group leader set up for the group. You’re done.
