Ocala Conservation Center

"Conservation Through Education"

     The Ocala Conservation Center is owned and operated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, which has managed the facility since 1954.  The Center is located approximately 20 miles east of Ocala on Lake Eaton in the Ocala National Forest.

     The facility sits on a 57-acre peninsula rich in history and wildlife.  Our facilities are rustic yet comfortable, with 16 air conditioned and heated cabins.

     Our Dining Hall is climate controlled and seats 150 people for meals or lectures and has a large commercial kitchen.  We also offer tent camping, limited RV hook-ups, an indoor classroom, outdoor teaching areas, shooting ranges (rifle, handgun, shotgun, airgun, and archery), fishing piers, boat ramp, canoes, bonfire arena, nature trails, and much more.
