How Sponsoring the Trail benefits you

Trail sponsorships available!  See our current Trail Sponsors.

Businesses and the environment can benefit from one another through Trail sponsorships and donations. One of the Birding Trail's goals is economically motivating conservation in this way.

By sponsoring parts of the Birding Trail, businesses:

  ●   reach a large population of birders that generates millions of dollars

●  in birding-related sales in Florida each year.
  ●   gain a reputation for supporting the environment, an increasingly important determinant of consumers' choices.
  ●   are recognized for giving back to their communities and employees.
  ●   may consider such donations as tax deductible.

Birding and conservation benefit when donations:

  ●   support production and maintenance of Trail materials.
  ●   make habitat enhancement and restoration possible.
  ●   fund educational programs for individual sites.
  ●   support improvements such as overlooks and optical equipment available to the public.

Sponsorships can broadcast your business' name to a large, diverse audience, or to a targeted geographic area, depending on which aspect of the project you choose to fund. Sponsorship opportunities include educational signage for sites, structure renovations to provide handicapped accessibility, even birding festivals and events featuring your business' name!

Sponsorship funds and donations are directed to the Wildlife Foundation of Florida, in the name of the Great Florida Birding Trail, in order to ensure their use for the program and projects agreed upon by the donor and Trail coordinator.

Donations should be posted to:
