* Note: Gear rules require dehooking tools to be used in the Atlantic reef fish fishery

**Closed season in Atlantic state waters applies to the following grouper species Gag, Black, Red, Scamp, Rock Hind, Red Hind, Coney, Grasby, Yellowfin, Yellowmouth, and Tiger.

Note: In Atlantic federal waters, the Jan. 1 – Apr. 30 closure applies to all species listed above except tiger grouper.

***Captain and crew are now able to keep recreational bag limits of all in season snapper grouper species in Atlantic federal waters. The FWC approved a similar measure for Atlantic state waters at the February 2014 Commission meeting and this change will go into effect March 13, 2014.
