Acknowledgements The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, through Section 6 of the Endangered Species Act, and the Florida Nongame Wildlife Trust Fund provided funding for both the survival and IUA studies. Additional funding for the IUA study was provided by USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, The University of Georgia, Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, and the Georgia Ornithological Society. We thank the landowners who gave us access to the eagle nests on their property especially: Florida Park Service, Department of Environmental Protection, Pinellas County, City of Cape Coral, the Department of Defense, Sarasota County, Hillsborough County School Board, and Florida Power. We would also like to thank the FWC staff, volunteers, and contractors who lent their time, support, and expertise to this project. Other organizations collaborated with us on various aspects of the project including the Lowry Park Zoo, Florida Audubon Bird of Prey Center, Avian and Wildlife Laboratory at the University of Miami, Laboratory of Wildlife Disease Research at the University of Florida, Microwave Telemetry, and American Wildlife Enterprises.
