* Cary WMA
is also a state forest.  The Division of Forestry will monitor its condition and reopen when practicable.

Cary WMA has reopened, except as described below:
Basin Road – A half-mile section remains closed.  The closed section is located one-half mile east of No Catch Road and one-quarter mile west of Salt Box Road.

is closed to both vehicular and foot traffic.  Alligator hunters may use airboats, canoes or other boats with outboard motors of 40 HP or less. On the Goodwin unit, they may launch from the office pad or Goodwin pump station; on the Broadmoor unit, they may launch from the parking area at the west end of L-7.
