Total Area: 60 acres uplands, 33.5 acres water

Closure Dates: Year-round

Focal Species: Herons, egrets, ibis, roseate spoonbill, brown pelican, American oystercatcher.

Known as Bird Island and Sunken Island, this CWA is part of the Richard T. Paul Alafia Banks Sanctuary, managed by Audubon Florida. It hosts thousands of birds during the nesting season and throughout the winter. Both islands are closed to public access.
