Commissioner Stephenson at Broward Co. Law Enforcement Memorial Day May 6, 2009 The FWC hosted this year's Broward County Law Enforcement Memorial Day. Broward County law enforcement agencies paid tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives protecting the citizens of Broward County. Among the names added to the memorial wall was that of FWC Pilot Lt. Joe Martyna, who died in November 2008. The solemn ceremony included the posting of colors and presentation of arms by the Multi-agency Honor Guard, wreath-laying and a flyover. Commissioner Dwight Stephenson was on hand to pay his respects.
