Barreto, Bergeron on hand for first day of Burmese python permit program July 17, 2009 Chairman Rodney Barreto and Commissioner Ron Bergeron were on hand and spoke to the news media on the first day of the FWC's Burmese python permit program. The program allows permit holders to search for pythons on several FWC wildlife management areas and lands managed by the South Florida Water Management District. Read the news release for details.
