Boating and Waterways offers funding to enhance recreational boating access through grant programs that include:

Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP)
Grant program to enhance boating access and other boating-related activities

2008: March 21 - May 20

Boating Infrastructure Grant Program (BigP)
Grant program for transient tie-up facilities for boats 26’ or longer

Application Period

2007: July 27 - October 5

Derelict Vessel Removal Grant Program
Grant program to local governments for the removal of derelict vessels from Florida waters

Application Period

Program did not receive funding for 2007.
