Manatee Electronic Field Trip - eFieldTrip.org

Would you like to take your class on a field trip to study and observe the manatee? You may not be able to physically go, but the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is offering you a free educational outreach electronic field trip (eFieldTrip) for your class.

During the school year, the FWC will offer schools nationwide the opportunity to participate in an eFieldTrip titled, "The Manatee: A Florida Treasure." The trip is designed to help students learn about this endangered species, its habitat and efforts to protect and conserve Florida's state marine mammal.

What do you need to participate? If you have access to the Internet at your school or in your classroom, you can participate! Students can access the eFieldTrip using a web browser such as Internet Explorer of Netscape Navigator.

For more information, or to register your school to participate, please go to www.eFieldTrips.org
