Species Account: Native to sub-Saharan Africa. Scattered sightings have been reported over the years in the Miami area, but there is no evidence of breeding in the wild (Florida BBA).

Habitats: Central or core urban area, Low density suburban development, areas peripheral to core urban areas, and small towns.
