The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will host a bald eagle draft management plan public workshop early next month to provide information and to receive comments from the public.

The workshop will be in Tallahassee on July 2 from 10 a.m. until noon in Room 272 of the Bryant Building, 620 S. Meridian St., Tallahassee (FWC headquarters).

Written comments should be addressed to Bald Eagle Management Plan, 1239 S.W. 10th St., Ocala, FL 34471-0323, or submitted to eagle_plan@myFWC.com and will be accepted until 11:59 p.m., July 2.
The draft plan is available until July 2 at MyFWC.com, under "Quick Clicks." Comments received in writing or during the workshop will be considered by FWC staff as they revise the draft plan. The public also will have an opportunity to comment on the revised plan once it is available in early August.

Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in the public workshop can make arrangements by calling Cindy Hoffman at (850) 488-6411 at least five days before the meeting.

Hearing- or speech-impaired individuals can arrange assistance by calling (850) 488-9542.
