 An Osceola subspecies (Meleagris gallopavo osceola) certificate will be awarded to any hunter who harvests a turkey, which meets the minimum spur and beard measurements, south of, but NOT including Taylor, Lafayette, Suwannee, Columbia, Baker and Nassau counties.
An eastern subspecies (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) certificate will be awarded to any hunter who harvests a turkey meeting the minimum spur and beard measurements in Florida counties north and west of, and including Taylor, Lafayette, Suwannee, Columbia, Baker and Nassau counties.
