- Great magazine with plenty of information for bass anglers.
Biosis--Fish Links
- Although the magazines they publish may be somewhat technical, Biosis provides a great list of links to all fish, including fishing, culture, aquaria, organizations and other categories.
Canadian Journal of Fisheries Science
- Site allows you to browse some issues and few the contents from others.
Dodge Adventurer Magazine
- Contains a surprising number of articles on fishing including many by Herb Allen.
Family.com
- An introduction to fishing including, the why, the how and other suggestions.
Field and Stream Magazine
- A very well done site that includes a "fish finder" to learn more about many fresh and saltwater fish species. It also has sunrise and tidal info and tips for fishing.
The Fishernet Online Magazine
- Subscribe to this free online magazine if you wish. Good info on tying knots.
Fishing Florida Magazine--Online
- A nice online magazine, with links to a radio talk show about fishing, by Captain Mel and local fishing forecasts.
Fishing Life
- An eMagazine with lots of tips and other valuable information.
Fish & Game Finder Magazine
- Another excellent site for fishing tips, fishing reports, fishing tournaments, links to fishing retailers and more.
Fishing Hole Magazine
- A nice online magazine with archived articles, links, the State of Utah fish and game updates, a great kids page and more.
Florida Links to the News
- A quick list of Florida newspapers, radio and television stations, as well as additional weather links, magazines and national publications.
Florida Living Magazine
- Florida Living Magazine publishes "Watching Wildlife with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission" and carries numerous articles about outdoor events, Florida's wildlife heritage and wildlife recipes.
Florida Outdoor Writers Association
- The FOWA is an organization of writers who cover both the recreational and ecological aspects of Florida's great outdoors. This site has a great collection of photos and links to many outdoor writers and photographers.

- An excellent magazine and web site somewhat weighed toward saltwater fishing, however.

- A great magazine with a decent web site. Includes lots of recipes, and information of fishing tournaments.
Journal of Recreation and Leisure
- A journal with great information on the value of recreation to people's health and well being.
National Geographic
- As top of the line as everything else they do.

- As site with links to virtually all the newspapers in America.
North American Fishing Club
- They are seeking paying members but have some good articles, links and info on tackle available.
Outdoor Life
- A very nice site with a good list of sportfish including tips on catching them and their biology. There are also many fishing articles and radio show tapes from past Outdoor Life episodes.
Outdoors Show from Jacksonville
- The Outdoors show comes from 600-The Ball radio station that each Saturday broadcasts a show including updates on the Commission's Jacksonville Urban Pond Program (JUPP). The website also has weekly forecasts and tips pertaining to the JUPP.
Palm Beach Interactive
- Presented by the Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News, the site includes a good outdoor recreation section.
Scientific American
- A very informative magazine and website.
Southern Coastal Angler
- The magazine for the 21st Century angler brings you great tips and special sections for lady and teenage anglers.
Sports Afield
- Their on-line magazine with plenty of stories and links.
Water Line
- WaterLine is the online version of the Sun Herald's boating and fishing section, primarily covering marine and sailing news along the waterways and coast of Southwest Florida, including Ft. Myers, Charlotte Harbor, Charlotte County and Sarasota County. However, it does have links and information about freshwater fishing as well and a neat nautical flag translator.
